DeLano is the Senior Instructor for Midori’s Rope Bondage Dojo® weekend intensives, where he utilizes his many years of experience as a rope bottom (and switch) to round out the curriculum and give students a different perspective in their rope education. He has presented rope and scene survival for new players at The Floating World, Rope Camp, Shibaricon, NELA’s Fetish Flea, Thunder In The Mountains, and other events around the country.

His deepest desire is to help rope players, new and experienced, to safely and joyfully expand on their experiences, to find deeper connections not only with their partners, but also with themselves. Helping fellow rope lovers open new doors to levels they never expected to find, using this rope tool. is a tremendous joy for him.

DeLano has also served as on-set rigger/bondage consultant for and episode of web series, “Hustling”, for a photo shoot with flamenco dancer Blanca Li (featured in Spanish Vogue), and for local (NYC) music video productions. His two Websites, delanoindistress.com and delanobound.com (both now inactive) were the first-ever to feature photos, stories, and performances by a male bondage bottom as the central figure.
